How to look after your tattoo
Your tattoo will be wrapped in clingfilm when you leave the studio, I recommend keeping this on for 2-3 hours then taking it off and washing the tattoo well with warm water and a mild anti-bacterial soap (Sanex 0% is good). Pat dry with a clean towel then re-wrap with fresh clingfilm.
I recommend doing this for the first 24 hours changing and washing every 4 hours or so, put fresh clingfilm on just before you go to bed and take it off first thing in the morning. After the first 24 hours you can stop using the clingfilm and start using a moisturiser, I recommend Palmers Coco butter unscented.
Make sure to wash your tattoo twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Only apply cream if the skin is feeling dry or tight. Do this for 2 weeks, your tattoo should be fully healed after 3 weeks.
If your tattoo needs a touch up (some details need going over or have dropped out) this is free of charge, just make sure to wait one month before booking this in so the skin is fully healed before going back over it. This can be booked over email.
Please get in touch over email if you have any questions or concerns throughout your healing process.
